Florida Gator reliever Anthony DeSclafin signed with the Toronto Blue jays this past weekend and has chosen not to return to Florida for his last season in Gainesville. DeSclafin is the eighth player out of a record 11 to be drafted. The Blue Jays signed DeSclafin in the sixth round with the 199th overall pick. Last season he went 5-3, 43 2/3 innings in 28 appearances. He had a 4.33 ERA while striking out 39 batters, recorded six walks and three saves.
